Announcement: Current iPLEDGE Issues

Dear Patient and/or Patient’s Guardian,
All of us at Mountain Pine Dermatology aware of the hardships the changes with the iPLEDGE REMS platform have caused for our Patients who receive Isotretinoin. These changes have caused hardships for pharmacies, physicians, and our staff as well. While the disruptions and inconveniences are impacting you and us, regretfully they are out of our ability to control. As this situation is not one we have the ability to remedy, we respectfully ask you to be mindful that repeated calls to our office about this issue will not change the situation itself. Please direct your inquiries about this issue to iPLEDGE.
We are doing everything we can to get Patients access to their medication and confirm Isotretinoin counseling on our end. We are unable to access your Patient Portal and should you need help with; 1) resetting your account, 2) logging in for the first time, 3) answering comprehension questions, 4) verifying contraception, or 5) gaining access to your date of significance, we regret to inform you that we are not able to assist you. iPLEDGE does not give us access to reset account information and you must contact them directly at 1-866-495-0654. We apologize for this inconvenience and hope there will be a fix soon.
With technology glitches, staffing issues with iPLEDGE, and an extraordinary amount of people trying to call iPLEDGE for help, we are aware of substantially longer than normal hold times (we have had our staff on hold for more than 9 hours) trying to reach the call center or inability to get in queue when calling and getting a message to call back at a different time.
We understand as this situation continues to unfold, patients are going without medication each day. We encourage our Patients to continue to call iPLEDGE at different times of the day until you are able to get through. We are also encouraging Patients to go onto the iPLEDGE website to read through the program changes and get familiar with the new platform at https://ipledgeprogram.com/#Main.
